Christos Kanellopolous

Christos Kenellopolous works as a policy advisor at Syriza and is a member of the secretariat of Syriza's European Policy Department. He is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His research attempts to explain the resilience of the Scandinavian welfare states focusing on the interplay of social corporatism, social policy and political economy in the Nordic countries. He has published and presented papers on various topics such as the European social democracy and the Eurozone crisis, the Nordic and Southern European social citizenship models in comparative perspective, French Socialists and German ordoliberalism.
