Johan Hassel

Johan Hassel, CEO of the think tank Global Utmaning

Johan Hassel holds a bachelor's degree in business and economics of Lund University and a master's degree in political science and European governance of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. From 2005 to 2009 he was member of the National Board of the Swedish Social Democratic Youth Organization (SSU), and served as an analyst and advisor to the Party Headquaters Campaign Management in 2006. From 2009 to 2011 he was member of the Advisory Committee on Youth of the Council of Europe. Moreover, starting from 2009, he had been serving as Secretary General of the International Union of Social Democratic Youth (IUSY) for 3 years.
