Maisam Jaljuli

Maisam Jaljuli, Chair of Na'amat in the Southern Triangle Region

Maisam has extensive experience in the area of leadership development with special interest in education, social studies and Criminology. She holds a BA in Sociology and Criminology and a MA degree in leadership education from Bar Ilan University.

She is also a certified and experienced teacher and facilitator in the areas of youth at risk, Arab-Jewish dialogue and more. Jaljuli has also taught criminology and civics at high school level. She served as chairperson of the Workers' Committee in Tira Municipality. From 2013 to 2015, Jaljuli has played a central role in training Arab women and young Arabs for political leadership through the Abraham Fund Initiatives.

She currently serves as chair of the Southern Triangle region branches of Na'amat, Israel's largest movement of working women and volunteers.
