Rami Hod

Rami Hod, Executive Director of the Social Economy Academy

Rami Hod holds a BA from the Haifa University's program for Social Economic History and Sociology as well as an MA in Sociology from the Ben Gurion University of the Negev.

Before joining the Social Economic Academy he worked at Koach LaOvdim - the Democratic Workers' Organization, which represents about 25,000 workers from a variety of fields. At Haifa University he also coordinated a scholarship program for Jewish and Arab students involved in community organizing and committed to social change in disadvantaged communities.

Currently, he serves as Executive Director at the Social Economic Academy. Rami Hod is also a lecturer as well as a regular commentator and publicist in Israeli newspapers and journals on topics such as social policy, inequality and social change.
